| The court held that the suspicionless strip-searches of all juveniles could not be based on the officials' state statutory duty to report child abuse or neglect, where the duty to report was not a duty to detect, and any interest the officials had in detecting abuse was outweighed by the detainees' privacy interests. One segment has him as a security guard outside a nightclub who is so intent on protecting the place that he nearly strip-searches a patron, while in another Kennedy poses as a producer of a video titled ``Guys Gone Nuts,'' whose unwitting stars learn it's not being marketed to women after all. Strip-searches, lousy food, isolation, foul smells, violence, and homesickness are among the miseries Williams delineates, and for the most part he does so with candor and without sensationalizing. |
