subdirectory
A disk directory that is subordinate to (below) another directory. Also called a "subfolder." In order to reference a subdirectory in a command line, the address must include all directories above it (see path). See folder.

Instead of a labelling system, an informative directory structure can be used to identify the content and date of the data backup per sub directory.
In such cases the host will create a sub directory of the original domain of the client and provide it with another name.
html is in the Root Directory and Web2 is in a Sub Directory.
