I believe that it must be the policy of the United States to support free peoples who are resisting attempted subjugations by armed minorities or by outside pressures.
During many subjugations of citizens, such as that which occurred in Okinawa, people were denied the use of swords and other devices; so they had to rely on themselves, and they trained in the use of their hands and feet.
Winant's motivation in these subjugations was apparently not sexual but subjugation pure and simple.
