A worldwide increase in demand for antioxidants is said to be reflected in orders for the company's Supercooling process plant for the production of antioxidant pastilles. The process involves supercooling the liquids inside the food (literally from the inside out), but preventing freezing, until a critical point. This apparent supercooling of the specimen relative to the thermometer was observed during the development of the hardware and operating conditions of the apparatus. |
