synchronism
1. History a chronological usually tabular list of historical persons and events, arranged to show parallel or synchronous occurrence
2. Art the representation in a work of art of one or more incidents that occurred at separate times

synchronism [′siŋ·krə‚niz·əm]
(electricity)
Of a synchronous motor, the condition under which the motor runs at a speed which is directly related to the frequency of the power applied to the motor and is not dependent upon variables.
(physics)
Condition of two periodic quantities which have the same frequency, and whose phase difference is either constant or varies around a constant average value.
