File format used for storing bitmap images at any resolution. Abbreviated TIFF.

TIFF: This is a Tag Image File Format which is the standard for full range black and white and color images for print ("ink on something").
Broad support for several third-party application file formats such as Adobe(R) Photoshop(R), Adobe Illustrator(R), and MetaCreations(R) Painter(R), as well as more generic file formats such as Encapsulated PostScript (EPS), Tag Image File Format (TIFF), GIF, JPEG, QuickTime(TM), and Macintosh(R) PICT is also included.
