(aerospace engineering)
Ascent of an aircraft or rocket at any angle, as the action of a rocket vehicle departing from its launch pad or the action of an aircraft as it becomes airborne.

A detailed analysis and listing of all items of material and equipment necessary to construct a project. Also called a takeoff.
