Navigational system which employs ground-based search radar equipment along an airway to locate aircraft flying near that airway; transmits, by television, information pertaining to these aircraft and other information to the pilots of properly equipped aircraft, and provides information to the pilots appropriate for use in the landing approach. Also known as Teleran; television-radar air navigation.
