Embryonic stem cells build a tumor formation called a teratoma and are often no good, meaning there is a high likelihood of amniotic stem cells producing far better results than embryonic ones. The differential diagnosis of large nasopharyngeal masses should include (1) benign disease such as juvenile angiofibroma, teratoma, meningoencephalocele, chordoma, paraganglioma, and nasopharyngeal extension of a parapharyngeal parotid tumor and (2) malignant disease such as carcinoma, lymphoma, and sarcoma. This included men with either Seminoma (made up of primarily young germ cells, growing slowly, staying relatively immobile, and accoungint for 40 percent of testicular cancers) or Teratoma (consisting of cysts that contain one or more of the three main types of cells present in embryos--ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm cells) type cancers and a range of time lags in seeking medical help. |
