An operating mode that causes the computer to act like a terminal; ready to transmit typed-in keystrokes and ready to receive transmitted data.

The unit includes an RS-232 serial port that allows, upon proper authentication, a terminal or computer in terminal mode to determine the unit's status, change the switch position and/or lock out front panel switching capability.
Routopath is an automatic programming terminal mode which defines and completely controls part programs of SCMI NC routers working straight from an undimensioned component drawing or sample.
The standard unit also includes an RS-232 serial supervisory port, allowing a terminal or computer in terminal mode to communicate with the unit, determine its status, change the switch position as desired, and/or lockout front panel switching capability.
