A former garage site is to be cleared and terrace houses built on the land, in Concord Street.

People living in 12 terrace houses which currently back onto the site have been plagued by fly-tippers, rival gangs and drug pushers who throw discarded needles into their gardens, Coun Tim Huxtable (Con, Bournville) said: "The scheme will regenerate a contaminated area and remove a hotspot for flytipping, which has been a constant annoyance to residents.
