Even if the reader has only a minimal interest in textual matters, this book will inspire a reconsideration of the theology and purpose of the Gospel of Mark. Of notes there is only one series, meaning that textual matter and explanatory material appear confusingly intercut. But because textual matters are kept in the background, it will be of less service to those interested in technicalities of the texts' transmission. |
