The DaynaSTAR MiniSwitch-8 is compatible with Category 3, 4, or 5 UTP cable for 10 Mbps connections and includes a BNC port for connection to a Thin Ethernet backbone. The E/PCI-M supports both 10BASE-T and thin Ethernet connections, and includes drivers for both Mac and IBM-compatible PCI computers. Other products which have also been affected by the price change include 10BASE-T and thin Ethernet DaynaPORT E/LC cards for Macintosh models with a PDS slot, the DaynaPORT CS-T, a 10BASE-T card for Macintoshes with a Communications Slot, and the EasyNet 10BASE-T transceiver for Macs with built-in Ethernet connections. |
