Version 3 innovations include a "While You Were Out" log of messages; a time stamp for every message; the ability to send messages to multiple people, and to archive transcripts; and the option to encrypt messages and to attach files. The company that bills itself as the first Internet registry of intellectual property gives digital files a time stamp and a unique fingerprint that appears to be holding up in court, all without requiring the user to divulge the file's contents. Home Office Voice Mail also keeps caller records including contact information (when used with Caller ID), date and time stamp and personal notes for each phone call. |
