1 Son of Issachar.

Tola

a river in the Mongolian People’s Republic; a right tributary of the Orkhon River. The Tola is 704 km long and drains an area of 53,200 sq km. It rises in the Khentei Highland, flows through a broad valley, and then separates into numerous branches. Freshets occur in summer, and the water level is low in summer. The mean flow rate near the city of Ulan Bator is 20–25 cu m per sec. The river freezes between late October and the middle of April, and Aufeis (successive sheets of overflow ice) is common. The Tola is used for irrigation and provides the water supply for Ulan Bator.
