began in 1955 with Paul Zimmer's development of an irrigation towline for rough terrain. In August 1777, Bushnell attached a waterproof mine to a long towline, buoyed by chunks of wood. A bowline is needed for holding onto the kayak in bad conditions, as is a towline, and for attaching bottom and sea anchors. |
