This next generation communications platform enables carriers to build service aware access networks that dynamically provision resources based on the grade of service and traffic contract assigned to individual applications. The company's packet-based integrated access platform, PurePacket, uses an MPLS architecture to bring intelligent routing close to the customer so that network resources can be dynamically provisioned based on the grade of service and traffic contract assigned to individual applications. In addition, PurePacket places intelligent MPLS Routing close to the customer so that network resources can be dynamically provisioned based on the grade of service and traffic contract assigned to individual IP and legacy applications running over DSL access networks. |
