Keeping it simple Basilius likes to keep its molding practices simple, typically sticking to single-material, single-shot applications, although it can produce two-material parts using two presses and a transfer robot between them.
Applications include the automated movement of parts within a single stage positioning system or as a Z-axis for a linear transfer robot.
Transfer robots within the press are able to manipulate panels while in motion, eliminating idle stations and reducing the overall footprint of the press to only two-thirds the length of previous models.
