trash canIn the Macintosh, a simulated garbage can used for deleting files and folders. The trash can keeps the files intact in case the user wants to restore them, but can be "emptied" from time to time to save disk space.

On October 4, an employee at S&J Grocery became suspicious of the occupants of a vehicle that was parked outside the store when she took garbage to the trash bin.
