Travesty 

a stage role. In the dramatic theater, the term refers to an actress who performs the roles of young boys and girls and of adolescents, as well as roles in which a woman is disguised in a man’s clothing. In opera, the term refers to a mezzo-soprano or contralto who performs the parts of young men.
