CCl3COOH Toxic, deliquescent, colorless crystals with a pungent aroma; soluble in water, alcohol, and ether; boils at 198°C; used as a chemical intermediate and laboratory reagent, and in medicine, pharmacy, and herbicides. Abbreviated TCA.
