oxycephaly [‚äk·sē′sef·ə·lē]
(medicine)
A condition in which the head assumes a roughly conical shape due to premature closure of the coronal or lambdoid sutures, or to artificial pressure on the frontal and occipital regions of the infant's head. Also known as acrocephaly.
