The site, on Kingfisher Boulevard, is currently owned by regional development agency One NorthEast which held a two-stage design competition to select a preferred developer.
These benefits were provided by early fixed-screw preplasticators, but the two-stage design was more complex and costly than a single-stage reciprocating screw.
