In a joint project between PCI Membranes and MoDo Chemetics, an ultrafiltration plant was installed to reduce COD from the oxygen stage of the bleach plant by 50%. In addition, in late April, 2006, we announced the development of a wearable ultrafiltration device to remove excess fluid from patients with congestive heart failure. In laboratory experiments, we used ultrafiltration to separate molecules of different sizes from the generated filtrates. |
