Some mixers have both balanced and unbalanced outputs on their products.
The back of the CD-150B holds a pair of male XLR connectors for the balanced output, a pair of RCA jacks for the unbalanced output and a lone RCA jack for the 75 ohm coax digital out.
This allows designers to minimize the amount of external circuitry and avoid having to over-design or compensate for unbalanced outputs.
