    0.01 sec.
unidirectional log-periodic antenna [¦yü·nə·də′rek·shən·əl ′läg ‚pir·ē′äd·ik an′ten·ə]
(electromagnetism)
A broad-band antenna in which the cut-out portions of a log-periodic antenna are mounted at an angle to each other, to give a unidirectional radiation pattern in which the major radiation is in the backward direction, off the apex of the antenna; impedance is essentially constant for all frequencies, as is the radiation pattern.
