An antenna approximately 6 feet (1.8 meters) or less in diameter, that is used for both broadcast reception and interactive communications via geosynrchronous satellites. Abbreviated VSAT.

Description of Very Small Aperture Terminal Very Small Aperture Terminal or VSAT is a type of satellite dish that is commonly used in transmitting data related to the identification of several radio frequencies.
Unique to this center is the addition of a Very Small Aperture Terminal that provides more robust communication capability and significantly reduces operating costs.
The service is based upon a two-way satellite broadband Internet service from Gilat Satellite Networks, which will serve as the wholesale provider of Very Small Aperture Terminal satellite communications equipment together with operations support services.
