With the introduction of SQL Server 2008 R2 Datacenter edition, in combination with Windows Server 2008 R2, customers can now run databases on systems with up to 256 logical processors, and move to a virtualized datacenter with Hyper-V and Live Migration support.
lt;p>To support and broaden the Secure Network Fabric in the virtualized datacenter, 3Com introduced four new solutions for large enterprises, including the TippingPoint Secure Virtualization Framework Solution, TippingPoint 1500S, TippingPoint ThreatLinQ 2.
Besides these integrated, interoperable and modular platforms empower customers to build highly virtualized datacenters and cloud computing platforms, the company said.
