From the beginning, this law imposed heightened penalties on people who physically invaded another's privacy "with the intent to capture any type of visual image, sound recording, or other physical impression of the plaintiff engaging in personal or familial activity and the physical invasion occurs in a manner that is offensive to a reasonable person.
Garcia Marquez discusses this issue of trying to retain the ambiguity needed to propel the central question of the story when the visual image is so completely unambiguous and the technical devices (edits) further define the image.
