Sandstone composed of a mixture of angular and unsorted or poorly sorted fragments of minerals and rocks and an abundant matrix of clay and fine silt.

The property's geology is composed of felsic tuffs, volcanoclastics, lithic wackes and mafic intrusives of the Freeman member, Urban group and the intermediate tuff accompanied with basaltic and andesitic flows of the Macho formation; these two units are separated by the Milner fault.
