A device similar to a wind tunnel, but using water as the working fluid instead of air or other gas.
(civil engineering)
A tunnel to transport water in a water-supply system.

The water supply category in March included the start of a $677 million water tunnel project.
The blockage represents the slice knife, and the experiments were carried out in a water tunnel under conditions similar to those of actual headboxes.
But the New York-based organization does have honorable intentions, to ``Connect children at both ends of the water tunnel by having them raise trout as a way of understanding the need for cold, clean water.
