Wakeboard evolved from a combination of surfing and water-skiing. Off they go to Take-a-Break-Lake where, in Reed's goofy acrylic illustrations, the now less-than-punctilious marks are shown sunbathing, water-skiing, and frolicking in bikinis. In a notice published October 5 in the Federal Register, the agency asks for comments on whether there should be federal requirements to wear life jackets on boats less than 16 feet, for children under the age of 13, for those in certain craft such as personal watercraft, canoes, kayaks, open motorboats, rowboats or sailboards, those being towed behind boats or water-skiing, or in certain conditions such as white water, gale-force winds, etc. |
