oxeye daisyGarden perennial plant (Chrysanthemum leucanthemum) in the composite family. The compound flower has 15–30 white ray flowers surrounding a bright yellow disk flower, about 1–2 in. (2.5–5 cm) across. It grows about 2 ft (60 cm) high and has oblong, notched leaves and long petioles (leafstalks).
