| The lobby is dominated by lenticular murals of the Wilders and a particularly striking, wall-length scene from one of the filmmaker's most famous works -- rendered in pink dots of varied sizes. Geert Wilders, who strongly criticized militant Muslim immigrants in the Netherlands in the wake of the murder of a famous filmmaker by a Moroccan, has received numerous death threats and has been forced to live away from his family in a high-security prison. Since then there have been several more arrests: Hirsi Ali and another member of Parliament, Geert Wilders, have gone into hiding (a la Salman Rushdie), and there have been more than fifteen attacks carried out on mosques, churches, and schools in the Netherlands. |
