(ordnance) In aerial gunnery, the yaw produced by the relative motion of the gun and the air; the tangent of the windage yaw is the crosswind, or the component of the airspeed perpendicular to the axis of the bore, divided by the muzzle velocity (the initial velocity relative to the gun).
