An X-ray unit capable of detecting dangerous devices will scan goods loaded onto passenger cruise ships passing in and out of the Port of Los Angeles beginning next year under a plan approved Thursday night by the harbor commission.
Tokyo, Japan, Apr 16, 2007 - (JCN) - Fuji Film announced on April 4 that it will release Sirius Ubiquitas, the new mobile x-ray unit with FCR (Fuji Computed Radiography) with Hitachi Chemical.
Passengers selected for screening by the device are asked to stand in front of the closet-size X-ray unit with the palms of their hands facing out.
