Another uranium mineral locality has been recently found in Val Infemotto, at the far north of the Cuneo Province: zeunerite
, autunite, uranospinite and uranophane have been reported from there.
Alumopharmacosiderite forms countless tiny cubic crystals associated with novacekite and zeunerite in a body of uranium ore at Tamdrost-West.
In the quartz veins of Vein 2, arseniosiderite forms layers of thin orange lamellae, with chalcopyrite, late-formed zeunerite and barite.
Occurrence: Associated minerals are: quartz, cobaltneustadtelite, preisingerite and goethite; rarely with mixite, zeunerite and bismutite.
On other schneebergite/nickelschneebergite specimens the associated minerals are: cobaltoan/nickeloan ferrilotharmeyerite, cobaltlotharmeyerite, nickellotharmeyerite, preisingerite, waylandite and zeunerite.
Occurrence: Associated minerals are: quartz, neustadtelite, preisingerite and goethite; rarely with mixite, zeunerite
Associated minerals on other samples are: lukrahnite, Ni- and Co-bearing ferrilotharmeyerite, mawbyite, arseniosiderite, zeunerite
In the fossil wood many mineral species have been found, including copper, chalcocite, volborthite, cornubite, chalcophyllite, zeunerite, connellite and many others.
Zeunerite has been found just once in fossil wood at the Cassagna mine, as three small (about 1 mm), pale green crystals, two of which were used for analysis.
Occurrence: At the type locality, the mineral occurs on quartz and associated minerals are: Ba-bearing alumopharmacosiderite, barium-pharmacosiderite, arseniosiderite, zeunerite
, olivenite, rooseveltite, Co-bearing mawbyite, Co-dominant tsumcorite, waylandite and scorodite.
