Žd’árské Vrchy

 

the northeastern part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in Czechoslovakia. Elevations to 836 m (Mount Devět Skal). The mountains are composed primarily of granites; there are graphite and granite deposits. The slopes are covered with coniferous forests. There is woodworking and pasturing of cattle.
