A open source version of Microsoft's .NET platform for ARM devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.). It runs in as little as 300KB of RAM compared to 12MB for the .NET Framework. The .NET Micro Framework can run with or without an operating system. See .NET Gadgeteer and .NET Framework.
