Dry 2-ethoxyethanol was placed in a ligand inlet tube and degassed by several freeze-pump-thaw cycles.
Moreover, experimental studies have reported behavioral impairment and neurochemical alteration of the central nervous system in young rats after maternal exposure to 2-methoxyethanol (EGME) and 2-ethoxyethanol (EGEE) (Nelson and Brightwell 1984; Nelson et al.

{The neutral detergent solution was prepared by dissolving 6.81 g of sodium borate decahydrate (Borax, [Na.sub.2][B.sub.4][O.sub.7].10[H.sub.2]O), 18.61g disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA, [C.sub.10][H.sub.14][N.sub.2][Na.sub.2][O.sub.8]), 30 g sodium lauryl sulphate neutral ([C.sub.10][H.sub.25]Na[O.sub.4]S), 10 ml 2-ethoxyethanol (ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, cellosolve, [C.sub.4][H.sub.10][O.sub.2]) and 4.56 g disodium phosphate anhydrous ([Na.sub.2]HP[O.sub.4]) in distilled water while stirring and heating until complete solution was obtained.
2-Methoxyethanol (2-ME) is also called as methyl cellosolve and used as a solvent for mainly different purpose, such as varnishes, dyes, resins and an additive in airplane deicing solutions while 2-ethoxyethanol (2-EE) commercially known as "Cello solve[epsilon]" and widely used as complexes of solvents, coemulsifiers so stabilizers of emulsions, dyes and lacquers.
In the first step, a given isocyanate adduct based on bi- or tri- or tetra-functionality (in solution form) was reacted with the caprolactone based 'eol' (dissolved in a mixture of butyl acetate and 2-ethoxyethanol (in 60:40 ratio)) followed by hydroxyester until 50% of the isocyanate functionalities of the adducts were consumed.
The Chemical Intermediates group revised and balloted the following standards and specifications: D 304, "Specification for n-Butyl Alcohol," D 331 "Specification for 2-Ethoxyethanol," D 770 "Specification for Isopropyl Alcohol," D 1007 "Specification for Sec.
