Aer Lingus has said that it welcomes the decision of the pilots union IALPA to suspend planned strike action for Tuesday and Wednesday (21 and 22 August).
On Tuesday Aer Lingus Flights EI 105 from Dublin to New York and Flight EI 104 from New York to Dublin have been cancelled and on Wednesday 22 August Aer Lingus Flights EI 123 Dublin to Chicago and Flight EI 122 Chicago to Dublin have been cancelled.

International pharmaceutical and health care company, F H Faulding & Co Limited (Faulding), Adelaide, South Australia, has announced that its Faulding Pharmaceuticals division has received final approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for enalaprilat injection, following the expiry of the paediatric exclusivity period on 22 August 2000.
Ranbaxy received final FDA approval for their ANDAs for enalapril tablets on 22 August 2000.
