3DNow!A technology developed for the K6-2 series of microprocessors from AMD to speed up floating point operations used in graphics-intensive applications. It provides a performance boost that enables more realistic rendering of 3D graphics, as well as faster multimedia playback. The technology is a combination of execution units and new instructions within the microprocessor. See K6.
