6G(1) (6th Generation) The sixth version of a product or system.
(2) The cellular generation after 5G. It is likely that 6G will be deployed in the 2030-2035 time frame with speeds up to 100 Gbits/sec using frequencies above 95 GHz. Pinpointing a location is expected to be much more precise than 5G. As of 2020, research into 6G cellular is taking place and China launched a test satellite for 6G late in the year. See 5G and 6Genesis.
