Apparent digestibility coefficient for dry matters (ADMD) of refined and unrefined feed formulations and apparent digestibility of seaweeds as ingredient (ADI) was measured using 1% [Cr.sub.2][O.sub.3] as marker.
The ADMD of both the refined and unrefined formulations was high, so that digestibility could not have been a factor in the lower growth rate that resulted in those fed with the unrefined feed.
Some of the flagship courses such as - AD3D EDGE, ADMD, VFX Plus, Max Pro and Maya Pro will be available at the centre.
The ANKOM bags with the residues were then removed from the bottles, rinsed thoroughly with distilled water, pre-dried at 55[degrees]C for 48 h and dried at 105[degrees]C for 24 h to a constant weight and weighed to estimate apparent DM disappearance (aDMD).
At the end of 4, 12 and 24-h incubation, triplicate vials of each treatment as well as duplicate vials containing inoculum only were withdrawn from the incubator and processed for determinations of apparent DM disappearance (ADMD), starch disappearance (SD) and production of volatile fatty acids (VFA) using the same procedure as described by Wang et al.
