AITP

(Association of Information Technology Professionals, Chicago, IL, www.aitp.org) Formerly the Data Processing Management Association (DPMA), the AITP is a membership organization founded in 1951 devoted to providing professional development to individuals in the information systems field. Renamed AITP in 1996, it originated the CDP examinations, which were later administrated by the ICCP. See CDP and ICCP.
