It is shown that an extremely large amount of charges, which mainly come from the bulk materials near the interface, accumulated at the Ge(111)/4H-SiC(0001) interface, suggesting the formation of Ge-Si bonding at interface due to the transfer of bulk materials.
The key topics addressed by the proceedings include characterization of interface materials, laboratory evaluation of interface behavior, field characterization of interface behavior, physical modeling of interface systems, numerical modeling of interface systems, analysis of systems failing at interfaces, and field monitoring of systems containing interfaces.
