AVG

A family of popular antivirus and spyware programs for Windows from AVG Technologies (www.avg.com). Both free and paid versions are available. The company was founded in the Czech Republic in 1991 as Grisoft by Jan Gritzbach and Tomas Hofer. With major investments from Intel Capital and others, AVG has grown rapidly worldwide.
