Adamovka

 

an urban-type settlement, the center of Adamovka Raion, Orenburg Oblast, RSFSR. It is situated on the Zharly River (in the basin of the Ural River). Adamovka is a station on a branch of the Orsk-Cheliabinsk railroad line. The population in 1968 was 10,000. The settlement is the site of a dairy, a brick factory, and an agricultural technical school.
