Air Logistics
constituent part of the logistics agencies of a nation’s armed forces; includes large logistics units, detachments, and institutions.
Air logistics is assigned the task of providing airfield maintenance, engineer, and medical support for the air force. They carry out the provisioning of air units of various sizes with all the various material necessities, everyday maintenance of personnel, contruction of new airfields, repair of unusable airfields, and technical ground support for air missions. Air logistics is also responsible for sanitation and hygiene, medical evacuation, and antiepidemic measures.
