Aircraft Rocket Engine

 

a rocket engine mounted on an aircraft. Solid-propellant rocket engines are used for take-offs, and liquid-propellant rocket engines, which can be restarted many times and have an adjustable thrust, are used as main engines and for boosting takeoffs and for maneuvers in flight.
